Now, there's a lot to this and it is not a joke.
For starters, there's a Dutch lawyer campaiging againg WWF. Severla months ago WWF sued him for calling them a criminal organisition. WWF lost based on the evidence the lawyer presented about WWF's activities in Africa and Asia.
Fact is that WWF has autonomous control over huge areas of wildlife parks, spanning over boarders of several countries. Governments have no control over these parks and there is evidence that illegal activities are taking place INSIDE these parks. THese include (hold on to your hats): guerrilla training and housing (they can easily move from one country to another without being checked) and, yes!, ivory smuggle and drugs transport. WWF is at least ALLOWING these activities, there may even be some evidence that they make profits from it.
Yes, people, the Panda is blacker than we thought. And our Prince Bernard (husband to the Dutch queen mother) is a major patron of WWF. He likes hunting big game and has been caught on numerous illegal trade affairs, including butting in in a big helicopter affair.
In short, WWF stinks!
Softer? Whatcha mean?
Anyway, there's also the thing about extinction. WWF has raised billions of dollars to prevent extinction of animals, one of them the Panda, their main symbol. And fact is after all these years, that they suck at doing so. The Panda will die out in it's natural habitat. It's inevitable. And yet, that is what is getting them all that money and they're not really doing what they say they should be doing. They raise funds with false promises. That too is illegal!
