Favourite Game Character

So who is your favourite computer game character is it one of the old school 'golden oldies' such as Pac Man,Mario or Sonic or is it the new breed of 'super hero' such as Max Payne,The Master Chief,Lara Croft or Duke Nukem, the choice is yours?

hmm, well I mostly play RTS so not many characters in there. But in the end StarCraft has some characters I'd go for Raynor (from the terrans) or Argentis (a toss from Brood War)

Link most definitely. I actually loved all of the characters from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It had such a deep story line that you start to get way into the characters lives.
