Edna sweeps the boards!

Well as some of you may have notced (or not have noticed as the case may be), I have been a tad tressed about exam results lately. Well, judgement day has finally arrived and I am pleased to say I am not a high school drop out.

Infact I have surprised myself by gaining 5 A's in my A levels. That really was shocker! It appears I am now officially a straight A student and can no longer pretend that I am not a swat!

So at the moment I am on cloud nine as Iget to go to London to study medicine and make all my dreams come true!

Not quite sure what to do with myself however so I think the only option is to consume ridiculously large amounts of alcohol and tun up for work in the morning with the hangover from hell! Well you only pass your A levels once!

Woo hoo! Off to go and gloat some more now! 😄

How does the grade system works in the Uk?
What does it take to get an A?
I know the US system where you have to have 90% or better to get an A and so on.

Well, Finti, this year a record 18.6% of papers were graded A (this will undoubtedly spark off a new row about standards... ooh no, too late, looking at the papers...). In any case to get FIVE A's marks you out as very special indeed.

But then I always knew she was a VERY clever Witch...

(And there was you worrying you might even have got a D in Chemistry...)
