I think TND...I'm going to have to finally watch THUNDERBALL on disc THIS weekend...

As I've said before, TND is the best of a BAD lot [and I mean the last four]...it's not *great* Bond but in comparison to GOLDENEYE, TWINE and DAD, it's miles ahead...

but you gotta understand that it had to go on with its time

Dr No was miles ahead of its time with brutal violance (for that time), sex, spying with the cold war...
and now we're in an "age" where all movies are drowning in violance and FX, so bond can't push the limits much anymore

I just watched FYEO which is my favorite Moore bond film, I also atch OHMSS, which is very underrated
