i'll buy all six no problem. I just hope the OT gets some decent stuff on it for extras. Indy was a little light, but then again its not as complex as SW. I certainly hope they're done in the same style as the PT DVD's, they have the best menu screens I've ever seen. There are deleted scenes for the OT, I just hope they still have the film. They've shown some screen shots of deleted stuff in the Insider. AND I WANT COMMENTARIES for the OT. There weren't any commentaries on Indy. The PT commentaries have been great. Only time I've sat through all the commentary on any DVD, 'cept Palahniuk on Fight Club.
I doubt the classic trilogy will ever be released on dvds............only the special edtions that were released in '97 with the extra scenes to correlate both trilogies that were filmed during the Episode III shoot thrown in. Lucas said he always pictured the classic trilogy as unfinished and now he has the chance to finish the movies. Since the "finished" version is done, I doubt he will release the "un-finished" classic trilogy ever again.
And actually when they released the special edition trilogy they released a classic trilogy set right before. The ad campaign was "your last chance to own the original".............which ofcourse meant Lucas was never releasing the "un-finished" version of the trilogy again.

NO evidence for any such extra scenes- only vague rumours.
It might have happened but there is no evidence for it; also there is still plenty of time to do it, but latest buzz I heard was that there would be no change for the DVD films.

some fan on TFN said that at the City of Angels Film Fest, they had the ANH SE, and they had worked on the sabres, to make it look better and such

No offense dude but, Duh. When we say OT this is what we're refering to since us SW fans have already (and reluctantly) accepted the SE's as the only editions anymore.
And Yerssot-I heard that too. They have been talking about it on the main site and in one of the ask the Lucasfilm Council things, they said Lucas is thinking about it, and he has an idea of what he would put in to link the Ot to the PT's better, but he's not sure if he'll have the time. So this is most likely entirely up in the air until after III's release, as was said on SW.com.
