There is one thing that suggests this story is false.

During the superbrawl, it's been written that Smith says that the matirx is now "even more sublime". But in the superbrawl video preview posted earlier today, Smith never says that to Neo {he only says "Like what I've done with the place?!"}

Maybe the line was cut, or added later on but - I dunno. This whole thing reaks of "fanboy"
