He also stated the action is fast.

you should probably stop acting high & mighty

i dont have to do what YOU think

i just wanted to comment about that one part because i was talking about it earlier

luck?

try skill

It's not skill when a team is exhausted and one person gets a generic shot that accidentally goes in the goal.

Tie's are completely just in hockey, it's a foolish reason to dislike a sport.

Most people are, and most people like basketball. But since I only associate with people who aren't complete tools, I think they usually have credibility.

No, I do not have the attention span of a worm, like i said, when they score 100 times in a game, it's hard to keep caring. It's just like 'oh another basket....yippee...'

you're comical

No you don't, but you look silly quoting parts of a post, completely ignoring the parts that hurt your argument. It's a sad way to argue, it's like you don't have anything valid to say about the part you disagree with, so you just ignore it and conentrate on the part that can be twisted into sounding like something that can help you with you're "argument".

Although, you've shown you're argument must be pretty weak, since you resorted to saying "you have the attention span of a worm".

What a retarded statement.

yeah, I'm known to be a pretty funny.

Although that doesn't change the fact that basketball is inferior to hockey in every way.

so are your arguments

He didn't mean fast as in speed obviously, I guess you didn't catch that.

He meant there's always action on the ice, not big lulls of nothing happening.

Oh my, what a come back. Beautiful elementary school mentality right there.....

"you're argument is not valid, you aren't giving valid reasons for disliking hockey other then 'its not popular and there are ties'"

"NO YOU'RE ARGUMENT IS STUPID!!!!!!"

At least I'm giving reasons to my arguments, not just taking peoples posts, quoting parts of them that don't hinder you're argument, ignoring the parts that do, and then giving a simple "you are too" retort.

Wow, absolutely breathtaking, were you on the debate team at your school?

Not what I'd call action, more or less just running and shooting baskets over and over again.

Like I said, too much scoring.

Obviously you don't respect what these men and women do for a living...have you ver tried to keep a car that's going 120 mph under control while taking turns and being bumper to bumper with another fast car?

That's a recipe for disaster.

and skating back and forth,up and down is any different???

like i said, too little scoring

explain why hockey is so great then backfire

well, there's also checks, fights, hitting, shooting. Not just skating

The only other thing that's in basketball is just players waving their arms in the air trying to block a meaningless basket.

And again, the lower amount of scoring in hockey means that when a team actually does score, it's worthy to get excited over. In basketball, another basket is just another time to go take a piss.

I whole heartedly agree with you here Chris.

yeah, you got a point BF, with the low scores being something good 🙂

The thing that makes hockey so cool is that theirs so much variety in the games. Their is the perfect amount of scoring ( so it matters and is exciting when they actually do score). There is always the possibility of a fight breaking out, which is the most exciting thing that can happen in a sport. Theres big hits happening all over the place, checks, trash talking. And alot of interesting strategies to recognize, should you take the time to follow and understand them.

Diversity and variety is what I love about hockey.
