Ad how, exactly, do you plan to do that? 😬

Edit: never mind... *sigh*

The thread already exists. OR existed. Voila - a merger.
🙂

Yay! You go Omega!

WOW! 😱

.... 🤨calm down... it is a wuestion of WHAT the lyrics mean... the answer is : The Matrix!

May I add that this is one of my most favoritest songs everrrrr? Don Davis=GENIOUS!

wut is the title in english... ?

I heard it meant something along the lines of Neo figuring something out... like a revelation (dare I say revolution?)

navras is the title . its a beautiful blend of easterna nd western scrore and also bringing out the theme of matrix triology.

lmao...

dammerung is either dawn or dusk, or something else ( i cannot remember at this time) so it can mean either new dawn, new dusk, or Neo dawn/dusk.

Jedi of the Matrix
why are you resistant in accepting the "truth" that matrix has been influenced by Upanishads in the underlying theme?. When they openly have used nine upanishads chants in the movie giving the audience the hint about what matrix is all about, your biased mind does not want to accpet it. This is why I see confusion in the discussions. I remember a parable where five different blind men described touching the elephant in five different ways. To see the reality, open your eyes. Matrix suggest to give up concepts in mind and free it to see the reality. Hope this helps you.

Is it just me, or did anybody else notice the Matrix Ultimate Collection: http://www.code-matrix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=45883#45883

fun matrix> uh, what are you talking about? i have not 'resisted' the truth of the upanishads in the underlying theme. infact, i know that Navras is just the quote put to music.

Does anybody know Navras lyrics between 1:40 and 2:10 or between 6:30 and 6:50?

I've just found:

(2:45-2:56)

Om shanti shanti shanti
Om shanti shanti shanti
Om shanti shanti shanti om...

(3:15-3:35)

Om Adityaya namo namaha
Om Adityaya namo namaha
Om Adityaya namo namaha

😕

i think that is all of them...don't have the soundtrack, so i can't check, though...

I do, but it's hard to tell the lyrics by listening and they aren't in the cover sleeve 😖

That's not exact at all... 🙁

Last what I found here...
filmtracks.com/comments/titles/matrix_revolutions/index.cgi?read=239

The beginning (0:00-1:13) are the following lyrics in order:

asato ma sad gamaya
asato ma sad gamaya
tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
mrtyor mamrtam gamaya

asato ma sad gamaya
asato ma sad gamaya
tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
mrtyor mamrtam gamaya

Translated into English:

From delusion lead me to truth
From delusion lead me to truth
From darkness lead me to light
From death lead me to immortality.

From delusion lead me to truth
From delusion lead me to truth
From darkness lead me to light
From death lead me to immortality.

**The women's lyrics (1:45-1:59) remain unknown.**

Also, somewhere in the middle (2:45-2:56) they say:

Om shanti shanti shanti
Om shanti shanti shanti
Om shanti shanti shanti om...

Which translated means in English:

Let there be peace everywhere. Shanti means peace in Sanskrit.

(They repeat this)

**An unknown chant (3:17-3:36) occur's soon after.**

Then the men sing this prayer (6:33-6:50) that goes:

om naarayanaya vidmahe ...
vaasudevaya dimahe ...
tanno visnoh pacodayat ...

Translation is something like this:

I offer my respects to Naarayana
I meditate on Vaasudeva
Please Visnu give me enthusiasm

Naarayana = father of mankind, place of mankind
Vaasudeva = Son of Vasudeva (the son of Vasudeva is Krishna)
Visnu = the God, the lord of goodness

**The women's unknown lyrics (7:08-7:22) show up again.**

Also, the climactic last 30 seconds (8:25-8:51) they say:

jnani manasa saha
buddhis ca na vicestate
tam ahuh paramam gatim

Ya ya ya ya yada yadaya
Ya ya ya ya yada yada yada yada
Yada yada yada yada yada

This means in English:

When the five senses and the mind are still, and reason itself rests in
silence, then begins the Path supreme.

**Needs some translation!** 😕
