Why do the TF call the 'wheeldroids' droiddekas and the others call them destroyers or destroyer droids

Because the Neimodians know what they actually are (they bought them!). Everyone else only recognises them as heavy droids.

a more boring explanation can be found on the sw website, they changed the name halfway through the film to droideka's from destroyer droids.

But for wich reason?

Stip confusing plot reasosn with real life reasons. I beleive Yerssot wamted the plot reasons, which I have given.

In real life, GL often makes little one-word tweaks while shooting to give films more character. Hence him telling the Neimodians to say 'Droidekas'

Like wise, he told Liam Neeson to say 'Dioxin' instead of 'Gas' at the start of the film. The book and script still say 'gas' because it was a spur of the moment change.

Why know the Jedi them as destroyerdroids? They are made somewhere!!! Someone should know!

They called them Destroyer Droids in the same way you would call a tank a tank rather than trying to identify the model type first. Of course, if you had BOUGHT the tank, you would know better.

But everybody know that a droid isn't just a droid. But good point there!

They should call them bad a#@ rolly-pollies. 😄
