Theory

Look, no one can deny that Keanu's acting was especially wooden in Reloaded, even more so than in M1 {sorry Korri!}. Most have put this down to poor acting skills, or possibly frustration at the long shooting schedules. But isn't it possible that this was deliberate?

Consider - there is some sort of "connection" between Neo and Smith. Consider also that Smith has been acting strangely {that is to say more human} of late, such as his manical laugh in Revolutions.

So isn't it possible that when Neo jumped into Smith at the end of M1, Smith took some of Neo's humanity, and Neo some of Smith's AI?

Just a thought

Ummm NO he's just a shitty actor !

OUCH! You just slapped Korri...

the only thing i can say is, a bad actor trying to be a bad actor...sounds like he wouldn't be able to do it...in fact, he could probably benefit from it...

"whoah"

I'm just saying... 😗

I dont think he is that bad of an actor...personally. I dont even have any feelings for him either. I think that is just his character for the movie. Neo still doesnt know everything but has to remail calm because so many people are looking up to him.

oh, i just remembered...

He was PERFECT for the first film. A part that entirely depended on his character being confused and ignorant until the very end. Absolutely bang on with keanu!

Alright - does anyone actually AGREE with my theory?

Oh look, there's a tumbleweed blowing by

I don't...

It's not worth making your lead actor act bad...

I don't...

It's not worth making your lead actor act bad...

Jeez I know you feel strongly but no need to slap me in the face TWICE with your double reply 😂

My computer was like DUH? and I couldn't tell if I posted or not...

I think he got Neo's personality, not humanity, because Smith says that he knew the rules of deletion, but he suddenly felt compelled to become an exile, to break the rules.

Yes, I can: Keanus acting was not wooden in Reloaded.
There, piece of cake.

Hehe...

Lol.
*Applause*

it wasn't Great but it wasn't wooden either. There were things I didn't like that he did in Reloaded that I thought he could have done better. EX: The head movements when he was saying alright to giving the kiss...looked funny. On the other hand, loved the "Hiya fellas" and "hmmmm Upgrades" Overall he did a good job to me...other than a few minor things. 🙂

keanu is not a great actor but he plays the part of Neo well. The Wachowscki brothers make his character with very little emotion. I can't remember Neo ever smiling in m2. The wachowski brothers made some mistakes in this trilogy. They made Neo a dull character and they never really showed how trinity and neo fell in love. it was kind of stupid actually. trinity and neo showed no signs of being in love in m1. Trinity told him to go to hell before the lobby scene and then just a few minutes later, out of nowhere, she is in love with him.
