no paramedic is the person who drives and works in a ambulance they are the first on a road traffic accident etc they could be the diff between the person living or dying !
Wow somebody that actually knows! A lot of people think ambulances have Paramedics who play with the patients and Drivers who.. erm.. drive.
They dont just do RTA's either they deal with all sorts of medical emergencies as well. Although in the UK most inner city work seems to be more like being a glorified taxi driver for people who have drunk too much...
