(AP) Britney Spears is back in what is destined to be the biggest box-office hit of 2006. Crossroads II: Take out the Trash will be released in June 2006, and is expected to outdraw Indiana Jones IV the first weekend of release.

In this new installment of one of the most popular movies of the past decade, Britney teams up with Christina Aguilerra and Mandy Moore, and together they travel on donkeys cross-country in search of Captain Abab's Gold - which is said to have been buried in the Grand Canyon.

Most of the movie involves the divas bending over and digging in the Canyon, but there is a huge plot twist at the end. The press has been instructed not to give the twist away, but we will say this: One of the divas get left behind and buried in the Canyon...and there are reports that that wasn't even in the script and that the footage was captured during a live incident.

Check out Crossroads II this summer. It's sure to be a blast!

Last I heard it was still in scripting....and working towards a 2007 release date...
