Alright, you got me. It was actually Microsoft Excel but then I copied it into Microsoft Paint to save it as a .jpg file.
I just thought it was funny how you believed that was actually her latest CD. I had you going there for a while. If I get time I'll try to copy the lyrics for "Who Got da Febreze?" on here. It was written by Kenny Rogers, who writes all of her songs.

You are obsessed with image manufacturing. You waffle on about it constantly, and it's starting to become a little tedious.
Let's just imagine for a short moment that you are right. That Britney was indeed "trailer trash" altered by the music industry to create something more acceptable. Far be it from me to judge, but "trailer trash" are still people, with the same rights as everyone else. Therefore, if Britney felt it necessary to change her image, then good for her. If she has decided that she is more comfortable with the image portrayed to us today, then again, good luck to her.
Society bangs on about appearances, and what is or is not socially acceptable. So what if she's looking a little scruffy? That does not make her any less of a person.
In my opinion, all of these petty little remarks about her appearance is purely and simply a way of making your own insecure selves feel a little better. Because that is all they are. Petty remarks. That have no effect on me, a fan, or on the lady herself if she were to be reading them.
Give it up sunshine! Unlike yourself, I am not superficial enough to judge on appearances. True appreciation goes a little deeper than that.

Last time I checked urinating on someone's couch was more than just not socially acceptable. It's downright rude. She drank all their liquor, too.

Looks like you haven't been listening, I haven't been judging her on her appearance, I have been judging her on her lack of talent and the misrepresentation of the way she "chooses" to express herself.
My whole point is that she was not expressing herself (which she seems to be doing now, which is fine) she was expressing a carefully honed image dreamed up by other people.
I may prattle on about it, but it's just that the plasticity of modern culture disturbs me. I also find it odd that someone who seems to be able to speak in an intelligent manner and put her ideas forward in a reasonable way also chooses to admire an icon that was set up to be identifiable to prepubescent and teenage girls.
I am not particularly picking on you, so don't take it so personally. It is part of my job to look at popular culture and comment about it. To study it and make some sense of it, then to raise the issues for others to then discuss it. So this is all just kinda research to me.
Is it really part of your job? That's actually pretty interesting.
I have been listening, believe me, it's just today's attack seemed to be on general appearance, so that was the topic I decided to defend.
I'm a little interested to hear your reasons why you feel she is choosing to express herself now, and that her previous image was one created completely by the industry?
It has always been my opinion that Britney was a simple country girl, taken in by the music industry (somewhat pushed into it by her mother, I may add), and not given a chance to grow up like a normal person. Her behaviour of late to me screams of someone who is rebelling against the suffocating environment that she was placed in from an early age.
Having been oppressed myself for a number of years, I feel a great sense of compassion for her and anyone else subjected to that kind of scrutiny, and I admire her for her ability to stand up and say "This is me, this is my choice, if you don't like it, tough."

I never once said her behaviour was controversial, just a little wild for some tastes.
No I was not on the Micky Mouse Club, but the only response I have to that question is mind your own god damned business.
Lose the couch, my dear sweet botankus. It lost it's appeal a long time ago. Your picture lacks in a great many things, it's biggest problem being the fact that it is unconvincing to say the least. Secondly, it forces me to severely question your maturity. A joke can be funny once, maybe even twice, keep harping on about it, and we may also have to question whether or not it is Britney that is the "attention-seeker" or your lovely self.
😄

My "idols" are Michael Douglas and Jodie Foster. The day you catch me putting Barney, Britney Spears, Ronald McDonald, or anything similar in nature in that category you can call me dumb as well.

That's it, you're exactly right. Now that I have the focus of the all-mighty Britrogue I can begin to count my accolades.

And thank you for the recognition. xxxxxx
man, I thought this forum was supposed to be fun, why do you have to answer to everybody's opinion? they are just expressing how they feel about her, that doesn't mean they are right or wrong, just telling the world what they feel

Yep, that's really part of my job. It is pretty interesting, sometimes disturbing, sometimes frustrating, but always interesting.

Not that I want to go into the details, but it's about marketing and product placement. Don't you find it odd that she and Christina became famous at the same time (and that a number of failed pop princesses rose and fell around that time as well). Also notice that they were marketed as wholesome, funloving, innocent blonde girls whose pop tunes were interchangeable. That's what the public wanted, and that's what they were given. Noticed how they went on to sell pepsi and other products. Britneys image was carefully orginized to appeal to a target audience. Even the pop songs were written with an immature audience in mind with careful consideration to the lyrics and rather simple arrangements. She was a prefabricated product, just like the backstreet boys and the spice girls. Christina had the talent to successfully break out of that image, Britney didn't.

That innocence was, once again, an image? Do you think that she was actually a virgin when she made that famous statement? Her and Justin Timberlake were hittin' it like bunny rabbits (as it was later discovered).
She was a spoiled child whom many in the industry worked with because they HAD to. Now I do feel bad for this, because it was the industry and her folks that made her into a spoiled child that believed her own press, that I will concede.

Then she also better be prepared to say, "I once had a career, that career was based on a prefabricated ideal, now that I've pissed that away I guess I'll have to live with that." If she can live with that, then all the power to her.

Once again, you make me laugh 😆
I am not trying to disuade you from liking her, it's a free world. What I would like you to do is stop the false idol worship. She isn't a perfect little girl, she never was. If you find inspiration from her, which as an adult is strange, then yee haw, but she is not that inspirational of figure. Lastly if you like her music, then with much pity, I say enjoy. The one point I wish you would concede is that Britney is not famous because of her talent, or looks. Her talent is meager and her looks are average. Britney is famous because you were told to like her, and you did.

Correction sweetie, I'm having fun, and this is the first time I've answered to your opinion because it's about me and you're mistaken. And would it have been so hard to check my profile and know for a fact that I am a she?
That's the problem with these forums, you get no emotion out of it. You try and post half a dizen smiley faces to let everyone know that you're actually not in a bad mood or getting pissed off, and you still get accused of being pissed off. Well..........
😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄
This is me being pissed off...................
😠 😠 😠 😠
Btw, I would like to say that it's been an honest pleasure arguing it out with both Kharmadog and Botankus. You guys have given me a real giggle. It's a shame we have such different opinions, although there must be SOMETHING we agree on. Hmmm.........
Okay, I can recognise certain similarities between Britney and Christina. I must confess though, I didn't know that Christina promoted pepsi as well? I know she did sketchers, but I don't think I ever saw her face on a pepsi bottle. Maybe we never had that pleasure over here.
Definate similarity between the music videos for both Dirrty and Slave. Both began on the Micky Mouse Club, and both began as sweet and innocent, although Britney won the prize for holding down the act for longer.
And yes, I never believed that whole virgin bit either, but I read a later interview that suggested Britney made that statement out of fear after receiving an offer of a million dollars to sleep with a forty year old man. Bearing in mind that she was only about 16/17 at the time, personally I'd let her have that one. She was a kid, sometimes kids can be stupid. And let's face it, she didn't exactly hide the fact that she deeply regretted saying that! Now that'll be an embarrassing tale to tell her grandchildren!
She did however inspire me to lose weight when I was eighteen. Looking back, I have got to seriously thank her for that one! I always thought she looked really healthy back in her "Crazy" days, admittedly, she became too skinny at one point, and nowadays I'm skinnier than her which is weird, but whatever, she inspired me to take up dancing. 💃
(P.s: I dance better than the banana, honestly!!!!!)
