Kiara lookes at kay and drifted to him: "Hey Kay, how're you? I'm Kiara and in slytherin, too!"

*dani looked around seeing Kai* "hey!" she said hoping that he heard her because she had been quite quiet.

"I suppose the more unlikely things have happened. Look at Harry! How many times did he beat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?" Dale grinned savagely "Like I say, there's always a chance"

He continued to the Hufflepuff table and sat down by Solar.

Dani smiled at Dale happy that he hadn't broken her spirit "oh Kai, this is Kiara she's a 3rd year in Slytherin" and "Kiara this is Kai, he's a 5th year and he's our prefect.

Dale waved his hand in front of Solar's eyes, seeing if she was paying attention, or merely sleeping with her eyes open.

Dani saw Dale trying to get Solar's attention and laughed she seemed to be out of it! "hey Dale... are you on the quidditch team?"Dani questioned

"Yeah. One of the reasons we keep winning! I'm seeker, have been since Harry left. Who's the Slytherin seeker? I never remember someone who is useless!" Dale stood up and walked to the Slytherin table, unwilling to sit down.

"Hi Kiara" Kai responded with a smile.

Dani turning red stood as well "I'm the seeker I took Malfoy's possition" "I think that it's going to be different this year, I beleive that we'll win" she smirked hoping that Dale would give her a reason to challenge him

"Hey Dale, It's not like Gryffindor has won every year since Harry first got here! So why don't you back off!" Kai said, as he took a step over to Dale.

Dani glanced over at Kai "thanks she said quietly to him and smiled"

"Have you been seeker every year since Malfoy left? Cos I've seen you on a broom and you could keep up with me. Last year was a lot easier. And Kai, Gryffindor hasn't won every year, but it's not like Slytherin have won at all!" Dale's hands bunched into fists, and other students were turning their heads.

Sorry if I'm making up too much history. I've assumed that Gryffindor win every year in the books, and this is two years after, so I think Hufflepuff win one, and Gryffindor the other? Is that okay? Oh yeah, Dale's only being like this cos he is very proud about his skills at quidditch, so what he said to Dani was a big compliment. Lol!

"No other house has either, just because Harry was the best is no reason to act like a jackass!" Kai yelled at him

{They only won in the 5th book, don't know about 6th and 7th. 😛 Lets say Gryffindor won last year.}

Dani smiled at Dale "thanks for that" she said knowing how good Dale was and that she had had to work really hard to get to the point where she could hope to keep up with him. "I know we haven't been the best lately but I hope to win this year" she glanced at Kai and smiled making sure he wasn't mad at her.

Dani put her hand on Kai's arm "it's okay, don't get all worked up over it, it's not worth you getting mad" she said softly to him giving him a gentle smile

"We've only lost once since Harry has left. I'm sure we'll win this year." Kai said to her with a smile.

Yeah, but its pretty likely they will. Unless another house win. But I don't think JK will have Slytherin winning...

Dale put his hand behind his back, ready to pull his wand from his sleeve if Kai tried something.

Dani flinched wondering what she'd got them into than it hit her that Dale had said that Kai had been acting like an ass... she wasn't one to let her friends get tormented "Kai has not been acting like an ass" she said in a rather frusterated tone of voice he's just backing me up
