He opened the package. Inside was a Infernium Cube. HE aleady had one, but this one was from his gran, who couldn't remember much. It was basically a dark tinted glass cube, with a ball of fire hovering inside. Wizards used them to start fires, keep themselves warm, and make balls of fire. With a simple tap of a wand, the fire could have the heat changed, to the point where it was cool enough to hold. Dale had impressed the entire common room in second year when he had juggled fire.
He conjoured wrapping around it, and set the postal owl back with orders to leave and fly back in to Terra. He left no card. It had cost him five knuts, and the price of the Infernium Cube, but it should have been worth it.
