Best Horror sequel ?

Is there a horror movie that had a sequel that beated the original ? I would say Aliens but it's not really horror. This one's a toughie, Jason Lives and Jason takes Manhattan are better than the original Friday.

I don't really know. I think Halloween 4 may possibly be better than 1.

I'd also go for Aliens there were some horror elements in it so i think we can include it in the horror section as well, and Dawn of the Dead.

Dawn of the Dead is better then Night of the Living Dead.

Evil Dead 2 is arguably better then Evil Dead

i think Jason X was better than Friday the 13th

Wasn't Evil Dead one of those so bad they're funny films?

Amityville sucked! Those lying sacks of trash said it was real! Yep I knew something was fishy when they talked about demon pigs and blood or goo dripping down the walls. I didn't like Halloween 2 that much 1 was better.

I am amazed at the amount of people that havent seen evil dead. For any horror fan its required viewing!!

No, Plan 9 From Outer Space is required viewing for all horror fans. Did you see that one... it was the worst horror... no, it was more than just the worst horror film it was the worst movie ever made. Actually I think Attack of the Killer Shrews was much worse but that's just one man's opinion.

I dont know if this qulifies because its a comedy..but its creepy, is the adams familey values was better than the first one also.
