Not trying to ignore your comments, you guys must have posted while I was writing, but you're right the Matrix females aren't like most women. They are very rarely a damsel in distress and set the pace for the movies. The're all determined, strong-willed, extremely intelligent, powerful, fast and you'd better get the hell out of their way.
