the best fight scene of all time

The Matrix fight scenes were ripped off from tons of old kung fu movies, does that make them bad? Hell no.

The Kill Bill fight scenes are supposed to be over the top and cartoony, both movies are partly a tribute to Quentin's love of the old hack & slash ninja type movies. I'm pretty down with martial arts movies, especially the classics, I've seen more than I can count, and Kill Bill's fight scenes are as good as any I've seen, and better than most.

Yeh but the matrix brought new elements to them, so although the martial arts may have been copied the new elements made it different. And Quentin likes hack and slash, I like hack and slash but it's over-rated and its not cartoony enough, coz if it was supposed to be cartoony then it would be more over the top, it's just crap.

That one in the cowboy bebop movie. Or the one in ninja scroll.

Its not fighting as such but i feel that the combat scenes in equilibrium were something new and special. They really made me feel that i wanted to do the gun kata like that. Especially with the breaking of limbs. Class!

My favorite is the fight between Rowdy Piper & Keith David in They Live.

Blade:Trinity- Abigail's fight with the vampire gang in the subway. Plus near the end of the movie when she fights the vampire guards.

the fight scene at the begining of blade 1

When Muhhamad was fighting George Foreman in Ali

The best fight scene ever would have to be the opening to Star Wars episode 3. 💃

Except once again, that's a battle; not a fight sequence.

Notable fights:
Neo vs Morpheus
Hector vs Achillies
Jack vs....um....himself (Fight Club)
Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader (both times)

Many great fights left out....but whatever.

Jack.... 🤨

hmm.....i'd have to say alot of the Fight Scenes in the Movie Hero with Jet Lee were really great. Also who could forget the old Bruce Lee Movies, they all were amazing. I do agree that the Lobby Scene in the Matrix was awesome though ( Neo v. Mr. Smith )

I agree... Enter the Dragon's final fight scene...all real choreography with full contact by Bruce Lee... both inspiring and unbelievably well shot.

Jack.... 🤨

Yes. Jack. Did he not say, "I am JACK'S complete lack of surprise,"? He said stuff like that half a dozen times in the movie. Would it be more clear if I said Jack (Norton) vs Tyler (Pitt)? Though the last 'fight' between them was more of a beating, but whatcha gonna do. It was better than a lot of the previously listed fight scenes.

wolverine and magneto was the best for me.and also all of the fights in Hero were amazing too

Hardly. When he was reading from the magazine he read names like Jill and John and many others. Through the rest of the movie he kept referring to himself as Jack's whatever. Such as when he confronted his boss. Oh yea, and in the screenplay the main character's name is JACK.
