how long are your detentions for school?? mine is 2 hours. that sux can you work on your school work?? what do you guys do during detention? we arnt allowed to work on our school work. we have to write paragraphs from our student handbook. and u cant skipp he comes down and getts you. if we dont have a sertain amout of our paragraphs done he gives you another detention. and it sux . we get out of school at 5:00 when we have detentions.

here is the level of our punishments.

one hour detention u can sleep do homework u just cant talk or listening to cd players

then a two hour same rules as a one hour

then a saturday detention u have to stay awake and u cant talk

if u miss a detention u get a saturday if u miss a saturday u get suspended if u come to school when u r suspended u get a longer suspension that is how my school works and i havent even gotten a detention yet this year 😱

ok u suck i have gotten one but i have another on my way. we only have a 2hour detention or a suspension. my friends got a suspension for where hooded sweaters. i almos got one because i told the pricipal to shut uop and i am gunna wear one and there aint nuttin he can do bout it. lol then he got mad and had no time to give me a suspecion.

its funny they think that a suspention will make us mad or will make us think about what we did and will hate a suspention but really we like thme because we dont have school lol

faculty detention - 30 to 60 mins doing the work you missed
lunchtime detention - 30 mins silent set work (they even have an official booklet)
afterschool - never had one... i guess you have to stay afterschool 🙄
SLU (Supervised Learning Unit) - naughty ppl have to do all their lessons in this prison and have lunch brought to them
suspension - 3 or 4 days at home
exclusion - the end

our detentions go up to an hour, where you can do what you want cos there aint any rules concerning what MUST be done, so just throw the teachers some authority! if you get a detention for 20 mins, they normally let you go after 15, same for 1 hr etc... 🙂

you bunk one day of school (6 hrs) and get a 1 hr detention, makes sense 😛

I think its an hour and u can do homework but im not sure. Ive never gotten detention before 😇

we have 10 periods in high schol we only get 7 periods. and we start at 8:30 and end at 2:57. in high school we start at 7:45 and end at wel i dont no i not in it yet.
