nah, the shock therapy is stupid!
(well, probably because Marvin Monroe is nagging in that one!)

When I look back on the first few seasons, I try not to compare it to modern Simpsons. I look at it like it is the first time I've ever seen it. It is much more hilarious. Therefore, I think the shock therapy episode is pretty damn funny.

In Die Hard 2, McClane's wife is watching that episode on the plane when terrorists had taken over the airport.
