rocky horror murdered?

so i am new here, i just found this place.anyway i am wonderin if there is any more news on the remake of rocky horror?i just heard about it, and to be honest i am miffed as to why?i guess to keep it alive for the new kids on the block, but marilyn manson?is it a totally dark rock thing or will he go soft?he aint no tim curry that is for sure, but im sure you all knoiw that it is continuously running on stage around the world, and so many less than able soapstars have thrown on the stockings and heels of the good doctor, Jason donovan was one, who is he?hes a two bit aussie soapstar that had a few major pop hits in the eighties, one with kylie minogue, anyway i hate him, he tried to gain credibility by having some kind of attack right on the spot that river(god bless) phoenix died!!!!! so tell me anyone seen this remake or is it not real.

i dont know about the re-make but jason donovan had a very long and sucksessfull(sp) run in joseph and his technicolour dream coat

I hope they do it.........The Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favorite musical of all time. I think Marilyn Manson would be great as Frankfurter. He's got the look (heroin addict-esque), he's got the pipes (can sing in many octaves).............

The only person I could fathom playing Riff Raff though would be Tim Roth and I don't know if he'd be up for it or not. Watch the scenes in Reservoir Dogs where he is lying in the backseat of the car bleeding and screaming.........you can almost here him saying, "he never liked me"......

The other characters are incidental............Columbia, Magenta, Janet Weiss........all could be played by stage actors from the play. Brad Majors on the other hand..........I have a hard time picturing anybody other than Barry Bostwick in the part.

i think it would be cool to see manson, and add a new slant to the music with a bit more rock, i heard they are even putting in original songs????magenta and columbia are far from incidental, i think it would be hard to replace the two ladies from the original, maybe brittney murphy as magenta????and kelly osbourne as columbia??????hahahahahahahahahahahahhahhaaaaa, i see u shiver in anticip..................................ATION

Nell Campbell and Patricia Quinn both did a great job in the original, no doubt..........it's just that their characters aren't as important. They don't have a lot of screen time.....don't have as many songs......and are covered heavily in make-up. Chances are if a big star were to play either part you'd have trouble figuring out who it was through all the makeup. That's why I said they were incidental.

By the Way.........I would laugh my ass off if I saw that fat cow Kelly Osbourne in a skimpy lingerie trying to tapdance at the end of Time Warp.

LOL Rocky Horror is one of my all time faves. Manson would pwn as Frankenfurter. Ew @ kelly osbourne as magenta, maybe if she lost weight 😘

anything else is fine with me as long as they dont try to add some diwali riddim or some r & b crap up in there. Definately I think meatloaf should make a return.. I heard he lost weight O_o

I think he was suggesting Kelly Osbourne for the role of Columbia (Little Nell a.k.a. Nell Campbell in original).....but her playing Magenta would be equally as ridiculous.

Ever watch Shock Treatment? Now that was one horrid movie........Horrid.

I love The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I havent quite decided whether or not remaking a low budget classic would be a good thing. It's better for the "new kids on the block" to see the original in all its glory, then to feed off of the remakes that hollywood produces for them. I don't think that Marilyn Manson would be able to fill Tim Curry's heels. 😄 But i think he could come pretty close. I am a MM fan, but he would add more of a dark undertone to the movie, and i'm not sure if that would work with the theme of the original.
