I play in a semi pro baseball league during the summer. Its basically a bunch of buddies and me keep on playing after high school. Its a lot of fun and I play 3rd base and catcher. Baseball is the best sport going. I also golf and play intramural basketball here at UK.

Golf is very difficult

I play golf in a very crude mannor. Most people don't like to play with me, because I swear A LOT and throw my clubs farther than I hit the ball!

You know, I used to work as a maintenance guy on a golf course. And I SWEAR golfers would aim at us when we were doing something out on the course. What bastards!

Well I play roller hockey, I love ice hockey and rugby. I like fighting too.

i only play football, i am the rock on which our defence is built, in other words if i go past the halfway line blood goes to my head and i swing and miss the ball, then my mates beat me up.

Homer: "Sports, sports, sports, sports, sports! Marge! Bart gets to ride in the front seat of the car today, because he's a good guy at sports!"

I like it when the audience starts shouting 'KILL BART' 'KILL BART', and it applies both to Bart and Lisa! Genius writing!

What I never got about that episode is that Bart refuses to tak the shot and this is presented as neither of them winning.

But isn't that just the same result as Lisa saving the shot, so technically SHE won?

Bart and Lisa both decided that it wasn't important who won. They both played a great game, and decided to leave the game at a tie.

Homer: "They're both losers! LOSERS!!!" 😄

Still would have been a tie if she'd saved it though... don't see what her team were annoyed about...

Of course, I appreciate the real point here, but it was still made out to be a compromise.
