I listened to it about 8 times yesterday and every single one of the songs are starting to grow on me. But my favs:

Cigaro
BYOB
Revenga
Radio/Video
Violent Pornography

Quick question: "Radio/Video" seems pretty much all about the radio. Do they plan on making a music video of the song and changing the lyrics from "Hey man look at me rocking out, I'm on the radio" to "Hey man look at me rocking out, I'm in a video"? It would make sense.

yeah i gave it several listens yesterday, and it is now my fave of the SOAD releases, its just more dark. the lyrics are awsome, and all the members sound like they've moved forward as musicians aswell

gah, i dont know but im really not liking "Old School Hollywood" the song is great but the electronic vocals are annoying, other than that song ( more like the opening vocals ) are the only downside about Mesmerize, that and its very short

If you look at the lyrics to Radio/Video, I believe it's actually "hey man, look at me rocking out I'm on the radio," and then "hey man, look at me rocking out I'm in the video." I don't know if those are the exact words but I'm pretty sure he says both "radio" and "video."

i got Mezmerize.

so far i thinks its good. not as great as their past albums, but its good. ill give it a better listen. i love the intro.

After listening to it again, I believe you are right. Without a close listen at the lyrics, they can all be mistaken for 'radio'.

Mezmerize just gets better each time for me.

Unbelievable. My favourite album of theirs.

Old School Hollywood is a fave at the moment.

heh yeah, I love that song too.

The robot voice is so ****ing awesome, it's cool how that song sounds like an 80's song while they're referencing 80's actors.

I'm not a fan of the robot voice but I don't hate it either.

my favorite song on the album is easily 'Question!'. incredible song. other great ones are

the entire album is great, but Cigaro is the track i always skip.
