ok, i dont know if there is any other thing like dis...and this might eb a lil corny to do lol. but everyone post all yur facts that u have on hear bout anything hp er any of the ppl. i will start off: *jk rowling wrote an extra scene for the Sorcerer's Stone that wasent in the book. it waz, the flashback scene of Lily Potter clutching Harry before her death. It shows that Harry's parents wear living ordinary lives as muggles when Voldemort .

hear are the stars answers to some questions. ( i also found this stuff in a mag.)

Q: What other role did you want to play?

A: Harry Melling ( Dudley)- Neville longbottom. he's interesting and he gets to go to Hogwarts!

Dan- Gilderoy Lockhart. He's a showoff but also he's a coward. He would be really funny to play.

Rupert- I think Malfoy would be cool. He's completely different from Ron, not very nice.

Emma- Malfoy becasue you can be horrible to people. that would be fun to play.

Malfoy would be easier to play than a member of the trio; he is just purely obnoxious. Being an amateur dramatist, I have found that an entirely bad character is easier to play than a properly rounded character.

IF you had a secret magical power, what would it be?

Dan- it would be to turn into a wolf. not a wearwolf. Wolves are my favorite animals becasue they'er cute but really dangerous as well.

Tom- to be able to make the world silent. sometimes quite is good.

Emma- i would liek to be invisible to get into rock concerts and movies.

Rupert- i would like to be invisible. that would be cool. i would probably use it to sneak out of school detentions.

Wizards have much longer life expectancies than humans (muggles).

In an interview, J.K.Rowling said that Dumbledore is 150 whereas "McGonagall is a sprightly 70." Wizards' magic are imbued in their bodies, so they are less susceptible to injury than eg Squibs (take Filch, he has rheumatism and trouble walking.) They play Quidditch, where they are battered by Bludgers and fall from dizzying heights, and yet "rarely die while playing Quidditch." Again, their magic preserves them; take Neville, he bounced when dropped out of a window and received only a broken wrist when falling from high off a broomstick.

Muggles are humans, but pure blood wizards are a different race entirely to the human race. In an interview, J.K.Rowling said in response to the assertion that HP is "a very conservative world," that actaually, Harry is of mixed race, "his mother is a 'human' witch, whereas his father is a pureblood wizard."

Facts-
* JK Rowling has a fortune estimated at $450 million, according to the london Sunday Times rich list. making he $50 million wealthier then the Queen of England.

*There's a real life Hogwarts school in Austria, called "Hexenschule." Students study spell casting and potion mixing!

*Daniel Rdcliffe played a joke on a fello actor. He changed the screen on his cellphone to Turkish.

i like yur facts shaber

J.K.Rowling's favourite animal is the otter. Hermione's Patronus takes the form of an otter. Hermione is a younger J.K.Rowling.

I was toying around with that idea the other day, thinking it would be interesting to see a skunk as someone's patronus (at the time I was thinking Neville, although Draco would probably the most likely candidate, followed closely by his twin shadows).

Can a magical creature be a patronus? I assume so, although they haven't mentioned any as yet.

Here's an amusing thought - What would Draco think if his patronus came out with the form of Crabbe or Goyle? (I assume that the patronus always has to be from the animal kingdom, though, and then this begs question, can Slytherins have thoughts happy enough to create a patronus?

One assumes that someone like 'Slytherin's Heir' would have a snake as their patronus. I don't know if 'Slytherin's Heir' was just a fixture for the second book only, or if there will be any future references to it at all. And what about heirs to the other houses then?

That was really funny jcbernier "What would Draco think if his patronus came out with the form of Crabbeor Goyle?", I practically howled with laughter.
Oh, and here is a fact, J K Rowling is the 5th richest person in Britain, and ironically doesn't even know how much money she really has.

wow i never knew that. i heard the acter that is sapossed to play draco is taller than the acter that plays his father. 6'1! hes huge! the acters that play harry and co. proably won't stay till after the 4th or 5th movie cause they will be to old. tom felton(draco) is already 16 and looks 25 acording to some people. emma, rupert and dan are all home schooled because they r constantly on set. thats all i know.

Personally, I don't see how that is a problem, myself. Kids grow at different rates, and the producers should expect that whenever they work with kids. I've know two boys in my life who were both about 6' 3" by their twelfth birthdays; and I went to school with a girl who TOWERED over me even when I was 16!

I was kind of surprised to hear of Tom's late growth spurt; although it's not unusual, at 16 I thought he may have already peaked. I'm sure that Dan, Rupert and probably Emma will catch up soon, as they are all younger (I think - I'm not sure about Emma).

Yeah, they probaly should'v let Tom Felton play Ron you know, in the book Draco is described as small, and Ron as tall, thin and gangly, but then again Tom has that brattish kind of look, and Rupert, well he looks stupid, Ron isn't suppose to be stupid, he's just suppose to be quick tempered thats all, and I don't remember reading anywhere in the book that Ron is suppose to be prone to injuries or dumb, or just one inch taller than Harry, and how come Ruprt doesn't have any freckles?

Weird.....there's an actual Hogwart's School and they study spells and hexes...hrmmmmm........VERY WEIRD!

J.K.Rowling's favourite animal is the otter. Hermione's Patronus takes the form of an otter. Hermione is a younger J.K.Rowling.

FACT: Also to add to this quote...the Burrow is located OUTSIDE the village of Ottery St. Catchpole. (INTERESTING!!!)

FACT: JK ROWLING DID WRITE A WEASLEY COUSIN....READ BELOW FOR THE INFO! 😄

The "Weasley Cousin"
Rowling had created the character of a female cousin to the Weasleys for book four. However, that character disappeared in rewrites. Here's what Rowling has to say (Nr) about the Weasley cousin:
Q: Last time we spoke you said there’d be a Weasley cousin. It didn’t appear. You’ve deceived me!
A: It got pulled. Sorry about that. What happened on Book Four, and one of the reasons why it was easily the most difficult to write, which had absolutely nothing to do with Harry being famous or me being famous, was that for the first time my plan fell down. I got halfway through and realised there was a huge gaping plot hole. The two ends just didn’t meet. It was entirely my own fault: I should have had the sense to go through it very carefully before I started writing. So I had to do an enormous amount of unpicking and in the process I’m afraid the Weasley cousin disappeared.
Q: Will we see her again?
A: Possibly. I really like her as a character but it’s quite a complex plot I’m dealing with so I’m not sure that she’ll fit anywhere else. She’ll be the "character that might have been."

Another one.......

Another form of Invisibility is the Disillusionment Charm. This spell doesn't actually make a person invisible, but it makes them extremely difficult to see by making them blend in with whatever they're standing in front of.

Dumbledore told Harry that he doesn't need a Cloak to become Invisible, which could indicate that he is capable of casting an Invisibility Spell on himself. This must be rare, since no one else does it.

AND ANOTHER ONE.........

Ways to Un-Vanish Something

The Revealer is an eraser-like device which makes invisible ink appear. Moody's magical eye could see through Invisibility Cloaks. It would seem that Voldemort in the form of a snake could as well, since Harry could see Arthur before the "cloak fell away" when he was seeing through the snake's eyes. Anyone placed in a Vanishing Cabinet reappears after a while, although this can be a matter of several days.

IF SNAPE IS SKILLED AT OCCLUMENS...THEN HARRY MAY VERY WELL BE HAVE POWERS IN LEGILIMENCY...READ BELOW...FROM HP LEXICON.

"'Don't lie to me,' Snape hissed, his fathomless black eyes boring into Harry's. 'Boomslang skin. Gillyweed. Both come from my stores, and I know who stole them.'" (GF27)
Harry had been ignoring Snape's needling up to that point, until Snape finally goaded him into meeting his eyes. Unfortunately for Snape, he and Harry are having different conversations at this point without realizing it. If he'd continued to press Harry on these points, the whole business of the undercover Death Eater at Hogwarts could have been blown open right then - but the conversation doesn't play out that way.

Harry believes the mention of boomslang skin to be a reference back to the CS11 incident in his second year, and doesn't know anything about any more recent thefts of it from Snape's private stores, so Snape could not have learned anything about the more recent incident by using Legilimency on Harry here.

As for the gillyweed, the logical thing for Snape to have suspected up to this point was that Harry took it himself, not that anyone took it for him. Even if he learned through Legilimency that Dobby took it for Harry, Harry at this point is not thinking of how Dobby learned about the gillyweed, so Snape couldn't have learned it from Harry just by Harry's reaction to this question.

J.k decided on the name harry potter because harry is her favouit boys name and when she grew up she knew a really nice family called the potters. they were her fav family

airangel ur confusing me, i thought snape wass sapooses to be good at oclemcy nd harry legamency. im confussed. what did u mean and what r the 2 again?
