Why do you want Biblical quotes in the movie?

not that!!!!
I found it a cool phrase.

I'm Legion, for I am many

I remember the Darth Legion thing from Aldera.net. He was supposed to be made up of Sith Lords from the past.

RC it was around the same time that "Adam" appeared in Buffy so you'll know where the idea came from.

Yes, yerssot, but it is a biblical quote. Why on Earth do you want Star Wars to start paraphrasing the Bible? That quote only apeared because someone said the name Legion and that is what Legion syas in the Bible. It's all nonsense.

lets keep the bible... far far away from SW

but religion things are ok?

Isn't there some kind of copyright infringement going on there. I think it's pretty scary if LucasFilm start owning the Bible as well. 😄

who wants to own the bible???

Very cool literary themes there...

What do you mean 'religion things are ok?', yerssot?

He said that? I usually ignore him... 😄

wonders if I should share my opinion on religion...hmmmmm...
what was this thread about again?

THe non-existent Darth Legion. 🙄

who 😄

I mean the bible isn't ok but the use of the virgin-birth from the bible and the indian religion are ok?

It isn't ok?

you don't have to say biblical quotes aren't good if there are elements of other religions in SW

GRRRR!

It was NOT the use of a Virgin Birth! That is complete fan-spread nonsense.

Anakin's birth at the hands of a supernatural Force is in keeping with ancient mythology of chosen ones and is nothing to do woith Christianity at all. It's a Greco-Roman thing.

And he hasn't 'used' Indian religion. He borrows from mythologies like he does all over. What he doesn't do is rip off what they say verbatim and stick it in his films.

Exactly. I thought we went into the Vigin birth thing ages ago?

I didn't say that!

I said that the use of the virgin-birth is also used in christianity and indian-cultures. Anakin is the Chosen One and he had also a virgin-birth. I think that GL saw this in a lot of cultures and bored it in TPM; so why can't a bible-quote be in SW?
