I don't think Pete loses his powers but he still doesn't want to be Spidey anymore. In the movie Peter still keeps his powers but gives up being Spider-Man, he just pretends he doesn't have his powers. And Stormy Day I just wanna make the experince a little more enjoyable.

if u dont remember (or never had the chance to read) spider does loses his powers at least 3 times naturally on the comics

I said at the end there was going to be a wedding scene betweem MJ and the astornaut.But of course MJ isnt gonna mary him because she doesnt in the comics so she gonna get together with Peter Parker at the end.
