ok Im new here and I really seem to like this forums....it may be a good idea to ask but im not very good with making sigs...can some1 pls help me?

Saying thanks first is kind of like saying "this will be the only time I talk to you so thanks in advance" or it's like you expect people to automatically make your request.
Personally, if people want a PM from me, I prefer them to PM me asking if I take requests, and we can then go into detail on the signature (if I decide to make one).
The sigs people request in here just aren't that great of ideas. The sig makers do what they can with what they have, but the ideas themselves are crap.

I have made a request about 2 or 3 pages back, and i thanked the person, whomever they might be, if they take the request, and if they did make it, i would thank them again and put the caption under my sig, that that person made it, hell even put made by so and so in the sig if they wanted.
but you shouldn't really say that they shouldn't say thanks beforhand, because your thanking then on taking on the responsibility of making it, and then afterwards when they make it, thank them again.
