This is what get me though.... 😑 If no one will do your sig, then the post is useless. 😬 Post again then someone might do it. I know there's the rule of spamming & saying stuff twice, but what do you do if no one does it?I ask more a sig two pages back but no one did it. To make things easier, I asked to PM me if someone would do it so I know if someone's gonna do it.

Posting it again will guarantee that NO one will do it, pretty much, because it means you can't even follow the rules for starters.
We're not required to make sigs for people. The few remaining sigmakers that do take requests do it as a favor, and if there's no one interested in taking your request then, well, sorry, but it simply won't be filled.
I will make a concession to this rule, though...if your request is more than 5 pages back, then you may repost it. But do not quote it - actually repost it.

I thought most people did them for fun & to make them for anyone. After all people are just saying 'taking sig requests' so anyone could ask for one. I've ask many people & they made sigs & not as a favor. Some I never even spoke to, but they were happy to make me a sig. 🙂
Now that's a good idea, I like it. At least then we aren't clogging up the place with sig requests all the time. If I'm stuck when no one will make one, I ask someone else, but what I can't stand is when someone double or triple posts, "Can I have a sig?" & "I want my sig now," or "When will it be ready? I want it now." Drives me nuts!
If someone does something for you, it's a favor unless they're getting something in return.
And...the more you annoy people in here, which reposting requests does because it means that you cannot read the rules or just simply don't feel like following them, the less likely it is that you're going to get a sig. If you can't follow the forum rules, then how can people assume you'll follow their specific request rules?
All the sigmakers do it for fun, because we like to do it. But only a handful of us still do requests because people are simply annoying about it, they don't follow rules, they don't credit, they pester endlessly about it, or they'll have one for a day or two and be requesting another one. And since making a sig takes a good amount of time, very few of us will do requests for anyone.
Well I know some people give rules which include 'keep your sig for at least a week or so' & 'give credit' which should be done. I always give credit and keep mine up for a while before changing it, plus I always keep my sigs so can change anytime, when I want, so they're never ignored. But as you say, some people don't want to read the rules but I can't understand why... 😬
