I like the lines of the Diablo, and what I've heard about the Murcielago being easy to drive - that's about it. I got to sit in a Countache (by, um, hopping over a velvet rope) at a car show, and it was just horrid - the shifter, the ergonomics, the visibility... Then again, I like how the company was founded out of spite. 🙂
The problem I see with most exotics/supercars is that they not only scream impracticality (which is supposed to be the whole point), but for those of us driving on US roads, scream impossibility. The typically long noses create incredibly low approach angles, and well, with a car that measures fuel efficiency in gallons per mile, you can't always pick and choose your gas stations.
Were I to buy an impractical car, even if price were no object, I feel it would have to be a GT2 or, if I felt like sacrificing extreme speed for phenominal looks, a 360 Modena.
