It's only demeaning if you wear the stuff and feel uncomfortable in it...just to please someone else. Vicky's is a store that means to make women feel sexy for themselves...not for someone else. It's not a 'leather and lace' type thing. Now, I'm sure men appreciate it (lol)...but basically, it's to make women feel feminine and sexy...not to turn men on.
Keep in mind....the same people who own Vicky's, own White Barn Candle Co. and Bath and Body Works. All of those things are aimed at pampering people...and they all go together toward the same goal. Relaxation and feeling good about yourself.

No company should force perfectly well proportioned models to lose weight if there's no need. Victoria's Secret don't do that.
What you have to understand, though, is that a lot of women are big fans of these models. The only women who generally don't seem to like it are fat chicks who excuse their unattractiveness by saying "Men like twigs". No offense, but it's just that obesity isn't attractive to a lot of men. That's just a fact. You're not bad for saying it.
The only men who say it's bad for women are the kind of dudes who want to seem sensitive to the female plight, and thus get laid more...or idiots. I'm willing to bet that nine times out of 10, if you told a girl that you hated the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show because it "degrades" women, she would look at you as if you were weird for THAT, more than she's look at you weird for liking it.
