matrix title meanings

This may be a stupid question but what eactly do the films titles mean?

'The Matrix'
'The Matrix Reloaded'
'The Matrix Revolutions'

are there any additional meaning etc?
for example smith says the machines were an "inevitable" step in evolution - (r)evolution!

Well reloaded ties in with the matrix being reset (or reloaded).

revolutions means that the humans are up to a revolution against the machines and perhaps there is more to it like a re evolution or something

i think the first one was called "the matrix" because it was about this world where everyone is kept prisoner, from machines, in a world they called "the matrix"

ok thats what i was wondering so,

'The Matrix' - introduces us+Neo to 'the matrix'
'The Matrix Reloaded' - a sequel,
'The Matrix Revolutions' - reference to Revelations?

Revolutions
1.)A single complete cycle (like the cycle of the previous 'ones'😉
2.)The overthrow of one government and its replacement with another.
3.)A sudden or momentous change in a situation

Revelations
1a).The act of revealing or disclosing.
b).Something revealed, especially a dramatic disclosure of something not previously known or realized.
2).A manifestation of divine will or truth.
3).Book of the Bible

Revolutions = cycles ?

yeah

"Revolutions
1.)A single complete cycle"

Sifer>what ideas do you have?

there was a revolution in the matrix and war

A sudden or momentous change in a situation: the revolution in computer technology.
