There is this guy in Jamaica that gets killed and Bond investigates the murder, he finds out that on this island, someone named Doctor No is doing rather mischievious things and he goes in for a closer look... (that's all I can say without spoiling things)

Thunderball:
SPECTRE (special executive for counter-intelligence, terrorism, revenge, extortion) hijacks two nuclear bombs and holds the world for randsom, Bond has to stop them
(this is as you can see a very classic theme but they were the first)
