A series of Unfortunate Events

Has anyone read them? Are they good? Do you have to read them in order? 😕 💃 💃

who is the author? whats the nitty griity of em, whats the genre?

no idea its just about these kidas and a lot of bad stuff happens to them and the endings arent happy either

Dear Reader,
I'm sorry to say that the book you are holding in your hands is extremely unpleasant. It tells an unhappy tale about three very unlucky children. Even though they are charming and clever, the Baudelaire siblings lead lives filled with misery and woe. From the very first page of this book when the children are at the beach and receive terrible news, continuing on through the entire story, disaster lurks at their heels. One might say they are magnets for misfortune.

In this short book alone, the three youngsters encounter a greedy and repulsive villain, itchy clothing, a disastrous fire, a plot to steal their fortune, and cold porridge for breakfast.

It is my sad duty to write down these unpleasant tales, but there is nothing stopping you from putting this book down at once and reading something happy, if you prefer that sort of thing.

I think the books are hilarious. Some of the stuff they come up with is incredibly rediculous

The thing that makes them so popular is the fact that the author tells you not to read them. When you're told not to do something, you do it. it's human nature

i read da first one and didnt like it... but this girl in my class is obssessed wit dem and she jus bought the new one like a month ago

theyr cool. im reading the 4th one right now. you proboly haveta read them in order if you wanna understand them properly. most people proboly wouldnt be interested, but i think theyr cool. theyr making a movie off the first one...

I LOVE this book series!!! I just finished number ten, but I totally agree with sk8stuff. If ya don`t read `em in order, u will get lost. ✅

He's an amazing author that writes a series of books called "A Series of Unfortunite Events". They're pretty popular, kinda like Harry Potter books,but a different plot. Anyone know of them?
