How is the MLB the Show?Currently, starting to play Skate, and hopefully going to rent Condemned 2. That games looks awesome.
Best baseball game since MVP died. 🙁
Road to the Show is kind of aggravating, but the gameplay is great, graphics are beautiful, franchise mode is the deepest of any of the current sports games I believe.

Cool.
I loved my MVP. I wish it was back......
I dont know how many hours I spent with 05 tuning my rosters, and minor league rosters.
Oh well. Cant have everything. I just wish MLB 2k8 actually played, but well, 2k Sports are turning in some crappy games. (outside of the NBA)
The Show pretty much has everything MVP did, including the full minor leagues. And the on field gameplay is pulled straight out of MVP, pitch meter and all.
One thing the Show is great at is how true to the game it is in the animations and ingame cutscenes. WHen you hit your first career HR your teamates dont acknowlege you just like in the big leagues, players congratulate other players after great defensive plays, the announcers call out and the players celebrate every milestone.
Condemned 2 Bloodshot.
Game is freaking awesome. Bloody creepy, story seems pretty cool, good graphics, great sound, and very cool CSI like investigations.
They improved from the original in many ways. When you investigate a body, instead of just hitting the button to bring out your tool and viola, instant police work, you instead look for bullet holes and identify the body and you have a few choices to make to get a perfect score.
It's very cool.
Playing Skate, which is pretty good too. Much better than Tony Hawk. When you accomplish your goal, you really feel that you did it and its kinda of rewarding that way.
And played Ace Combat 6. Graphics are amazing, but the gameplay is kinda of boring and it has probably the worst VO ever and story is pretty awful too.
I love Company Of Heroes.
I've played the exp pack 1.5 times (played German campaign twice) and I'm currently in my 3rd playthrough for the Americans.
That game is probably one of the best RTS in years. I just love it.
UT3 kinda of blows. I was expecting something similiar to UT2004, but its worst than that version. The maps are very unimaginative compared to previous installments.
Yeah, I'm liking Condemned 2. If you liked the original, its better than that by far. The combat is much more involved with combos, you can trip people up with thrown weapons, you can parry, hook and jab. Also, you can do environmental kills like throwing them into a TV, or slamming thier head down on the table and the gunplay is better too.
But the investigations are awesome. Pure rental though.
Is the COH expansion as good as the stand alone game? I don't have the expansion, but it sounds like you recommend it.
Yeah, UT3 isn't great. Graphically it's impressive, though. And it's fun to just pop it in and play for a few minutes here and there. Glad I didn't pay for it, though.
I've also been tweaking around with Crysis. I found out a few tweaks that make it look at about as good as Very High, while keeping the framerate at the level it would be at High settings.
It's pretty much more of the same. It's neat to play as the Brits, and the Germans because they're alot different than the Americans and the other German faction.
The graphics are awesome though especially some of the night missions that have rain and a thunderstorm. Your charge to protect a hill and its raining very hard, and I couldnt really see anything until the lighting struck and saw 3 tanks coming towards me. It was pretty eerie.
