is it better than 2k8 ? I've always preferred 2k over nhl, but 2k8 was a bit lacking this year. It became more arcade than simulation. Been tempted to try nhl08, if you have played 2k8 how does it compare?

Conan.

mostly WoW and Smash Brawl atm... nephew is borrowing my 3rd strike for ps2... /sniffle

Condemned 2.

Havnt played 2k8, but I know that this version of NHL 08 is much better than two years ago for 2k series.

Also, it actually works on my XBOX.

It's damn fun.

Rent it and see. Feels like hockey.

I re-discovered emulators a few days ago. So instead of Mass Effect (which I just borrowed from a friend) I beat Aladdin (Sega Genesis) and I'm part-way through Batman Returns right now (also Genesis). I own Batman and beat Aladdin a long time ago, but setting up the Genesis (and finding it, at this point) is a b*tch and there's a few games I don't have, can't find anywhere else, but want to play. NES too, since my own stopped working years ago.

Metroid Zero Mission...just pwned Kraid

-Syphon Filter 1
-Syphon Filter: Dark mirror (PSP)
-Nocturne

Screw emulators. I can't get the buttons to work right for most games for some reason...responsiveness issues, and controllers > keyboards for games that were designed for controllers.

Anyway, it was reason enough to set up my Genesis again and just play the games I had on the cpu anyway. Batman Returns is my current drug of choice. Ebay purchases of excellent old sh*t likely to follow in the coming days...

Digi, it's because your Emulating games with complicated controllers.

Something Akin to a gameboy, gba, Nes and a DS would be best for Emulator, anything else is too much hassle and would require you to buy a USB controller.

The Legend of Zelda (NES) on my Wii.

I watched a cool speed run on YouTube where some guy finished the game in only 26 minutes. Now, for some reason, I feel like I have to try this, too. 🙂

Team Fortress 2

mortal kombat: shaolin monks

26?
sweet!

Well, I didn't even come close to beating Zelda in under 30 minutes (more like 3 hours), but I beat it, goddamnit.

Now it's back to Call of Duty 4 to mess around on the new maps I downloaded.
