I'm not saying I am against all good looking actors, merely the one's who get recognized as good actors when they certainly are not (which is the majority of them)

Again, if you want to watch a sex scene, or see a hot chick, go watch a modeling show or watch a porn. Actors should be judged by their acting abilities, not their looks.

It's mentality like the one you present that is causing all the crappy films to be released. It is killing the film industry and needs to be halted immediately. Thank goodness there are still some people with the sense of taste.

hey dont think that I only like those mediocre holywood movies that are out there at the moment, but we're talking about keeping the big public happy (this is were the money is, movies are made for money not just to keep the people happy) sex sells

that doesn't make it right to judge an actress by their looks. People who do that have no business watching movies, just go watch a modeling competition.

I dont say I agree with it, but actors are also judged by their looks, not only the girls...and movies (the big ones) are in a way a modelling show...models bring in money, thats what it is about money...

again, that doesn't make it right. And that's why movies suck so much these days.

You should watch some european movies or asian. Not all the actors are great looking (but good actors) and the sex scenes are a bit more spicy then in american movies 😉 Its not that bad.

Well thats the problem. I saw an interview the other day with this exec from some studio and he said that the movie industry is taking in consideration the fact that europe is a big marked but apparently not yet 😖
But there are good looking actors that can act.

yes there are, and I think that if u can act good u should be in the movie, I mean not everybody in real life is beautiful, but I dunno if I would wanna see a totally scary deformed couple playing romeo and juliet....ow wait I do wanna see that...turn it into some gorefest freak show parody of shakespear's masterpiece 😂

yes but shakespeare was prolly one of the first to come up with those, at the time when he lived that kinda stuff must have been totally awesome, and now its so overdone

reminds of of Petrarca's poetry, he describes his perfect women, lips of roses, skin like snog, teeth or pearls...bla bla bla now that sounds soooo corny and stupid but in his time that stuff owned
