Viggo Mortensen

I saw Hidalgo the other day at an advance screening that I won passes to. I really liked the movie-good story, though not necessarily true-great cinamatography and Viggo was great! Yes, he did purchase the horse after they completed the movie. It tells all about that in Vanity Fair, last month I think. He's a wonderful actor, artist, poet, photographer, author-I just bought his book of horse photos called The Horse is Good from his own publishing house, Perceval Press, though I don't have it yet. The man is exceptionally talented(and gorgeous) and I would love to be lucky enough to meet him somehow someday! I can't believe I missed seeing him on Regis and Kelly......🙁

Thats awesome. He showed off his horse book yesterday on R&K, it was really beautiful. And they were talking about his name he was like, i have a wierd name its kinda like calling someone Oswald, i was laughin lol

OMG i saw Hidalgo last night, its a wonderful movie, everyone should see it. and WOW did Viggo look great, and I couldnt help but drool when he was riding on the horse...And....He was wearing tight pants throughout the whole movie...Gosh I am so glad im seeing this again in 2 weeks, cause Viggo looked droolworthy

ya i heard it was actually a decent movie, not great but i'll still c it cuz viggo is a good actor

Well, some people may think its only "decent" But i think its a great family movie, lots of action, some funny parts, great acting.. Im seeing it again thats for sure

ill see it and i hope i like it and if i dont ill be angry but i bet its gonna b good jus by the previews

I was a bit uneasy with the first part, but after that..its all good.. As i said once b4 it gets a 8.5/10 from meh

Its not confusing once ya see it, truest me..Its a wonderful story and Viggo plays awesome as Frank T. Hopkins

It's supposed to be based on the life story of Frank T. Hopkins, but if you do some research, you'll find that Mr. Hopkins was a bit of a "tall tale" teller and it's probably more legend than truth. Still a very good story and Viggo rode into the premiere the other day on T. J. aka Hidalgo, the horse from the movie that he purchased after it was over. I saw pictures today and he looked so cool! He said the horse was his "date" for the night! LOL!

No, he was married to Exene Cervenka from 1987 to 1997.They got divorced. He has a child.

He's divorced and has a 16 year old son named Henry. He is currently single, and his wife's name is Exena something... some punk rock star who's the total opposite of Viggo. Now, let's calm down. 😛
