What book are you reading now?

Blood Rites by Jim Butcher

Tried Rules of Attraction by Bret Easton Ellis - but really not my kind of writing. Could never get into Jack Kerouac, either - that whole beatnik/freeflow of consciousness just seems to me like somebody who never learned how to properly order their thoughts. Saw the movie was on the other day - watched that about halfway and then gave up on that as well.

Guess I'm never gonna be an Ellis fan - which is a pity, cause I really liked American Psycho (the movie). Now I am a bit hesitant to try the book...

'The Operative' by Duncan Falconer

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titan's Curse

I just finished "Große Pause - Nachdenken über Schule" by Marga Bayerwaltes and am halfway through "Bildung - Alles Was Man Wissen Muss" by Dietrich Schwanitz. Reminds me very much of Joachim Fernau's great books on history.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

The Client by John Grisham

'Fell Cargo' by Dan Abnett

The Last Testament by Sam Bourne

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

'Crisis' by Robin Cook

The Bartimaeus Trilogy: The Amuloet of Samarkand by Johnathan Stroud

about the fifth or sixth time ive read throug hthis series
i love it 😊

The Silent Blade ....R.A. Salvatore

'Sharky's Machine' by William Diehl

The Bartimaeus Trilogy: The Golemn's Eye by Jonathan Stroud

'Spectre' by Stephen Laws

Couldn't get into 'Sharky's Machine', it just moved from one place to the other too quickly and the dialogue and descriptions didn't mesh into each other well.
