The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton Christensen

Finished Great Gatsby. Now back to Light in August.

Veronica Roth~Divergent

An island to oneself by Tom Neale. In all honesty a poorly written, matter of fact account of Neale's time living alone on a coral atoll in the south Pacific. Despite its flaws it is spellbinding. Probably my 2nd favourite book of all time. Read it about 10 times now.

American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis

Great book except for the music chapters. They have a purpose of showing his obsessive/compulsive personality but I didn't like them. The attention to detail when he is describing what people are wearing on the cameras he uses to record himself killing victims is enough to get that point across.

I can see why you'd think as much, that point was driven home pretty clearly by him taking a full chapter to describe his apartment, which is of course like the second chapter, lol.

I've been sort of multitasking and shit so I have yet to actually get to a scene where he kills someone.

There's a particularly disturbing scene at the zoo. I laughed cos I'm sick.

I had started so many books at once before my exams that now I am some halfway through North and south (Elizabeth Gaskell), on part 3, if I remember correctly, in Anna Karenina and a few chapters in When a man marries. Oh! And before that I was reading Les Miserables and didn't get far enough to meet Jean Valjean. 🙁

Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov.

I like all informative Law books.

Just finished Light in August, now moving onto The Telling Room: A Tale of Love, Betrayal, Revenge, and the World's Greatest Piece of Cheese by Mike Paterniti

Grand Central Arena by Ryk E. Spoor. It is really, really good, I highly recommend it ^^

I set myself the challenge of reading every discworld book there is this year. I'm breaking them up with other's works so I don't become disinterested, so it's been a heavy reading year. Just finished Duncan Lay's Wall of Spears, and I'm about to start Equal Rites.

My Work is Not Yet Done by Thomas Ligotti.

I am reading now The Silent Ark: A Chilling Expose of Meat - The Global Killer by Juliet Gellatley. It is pretty shocked book about the treatment of animals.

The Children of Hurin by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The Gods of Pegana by Lord Dunsany.
