Just started in 'Sieze the night' by Koontz, only read one book of his before but so far I find his work rather entertaining

Koontz is excellent. 'Intensity' and 'Dragon Tears' are my personal favourites. He's probably my second favourite horror writer after Richard Laymon.

Speaking of laymon, have you read the beast house trilogy, I read the first part of the series and enjoyed it quite alot, any recommendations from laymon?

I'm not sure if I've read that trilogy, I probably have but not realised it.
My favourites from Laymon were:

Island
Body Rides
Come Out Tonight
Endless Night (highly recommend)
Flesh
Savage (highly recommend)

I've read a lot more but these I would say were especially good.

Wuthering Heights.

Moby Dick.

1984? Class book, I really enjoyed it.
