Good book. Very unique perspective to the zombie genre.

Agreed, I'm really liking it so far, I'm only as far as the "Blame" part as of now.

They are currently trying to make it into a movie. It's going to be very difficult to do, but I hope they can pull it off. There are some scenes in there that would genuinely be creepy as hell if done right on screen.

Yeah, I searched for it on IMDB and saw it's due out 2010. I think it would be better if they went an HBO Mini-series way with it though.

Part 1: Warnings
Part 2: Blame
Part 3: The Great Panic
Part 4: Turning the Tide
Part 5: Home Front USA
Part 6: Around the World, And Above
Part 7: Total War
Part 8: Good-Byes

An 8-part mini-series would do just fine, in my opinion. I just think there is too much in this book that would be scrapped in order to have a decent runtime on a movie.

I read the "Yonkers" interview and the part about the soldier getting his chin and lower lip bit off still hasn't left my head.

You're probably right about that. It would make a fantastic mini-series.

The parts that creeped me out the most are later in the book where they talk about the different areas they have to go to clear out zombies. Just imagining what those scenarios would be like in real life gives me chills.

I don't know if they are mentioned yet where you are, but another disturbing part to me are the Quislings. To me it just seems like an all too real thing that would happen.

I just read about the Quislings last night. Indeed that is creepy and I agree with you that it is all too real. I was reading an hour or so ago and just hit the "Around the World, And Above" chapter.

I really liked that last interview I read where the female Pilot gets shot down and has to make it to a cleared pick-up zone.

Love that story. Probably my favorite of the book.

At the moment, Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce.

I'm going to wait till I finish to decide what my favorite interview is, but I did enjoy that one a lot.
