true...but if the X movies go beyond 4..assuming they go to 4..Kitty could still get her big role...I mean by now quite a few of the xmen characters should be recognizable to the general public.

If James Marsden will never play Cyclops anymore in the future, there is still possiblity for somebody to play Cyclops in his part. An alternate one would be possible. It doesn't matter since the sequel would probably have different title.

If DC and WB has done this in their movies [Batman and Superman], Marvel and Fox can do it, too.

BUT, it is still nice to see James Marsden as Scott Summers. He fits the role.

The Marvel and Fox has done it before in their previous X-Movies... they can do it in the future ones.

Here's my pic for Gambit: Jonathan Rhys Meyers

He was in M I 3, although he's not french (Gambit has the french accent, right?), he has an Irish one, and am pretty sure he could pull off a French for the role.

Maybe also Colin Farrel. He's got the attitude & definitely the acting capabilities.
