USH'S MATRIX GAME: SECOND ASSIGNMENT: 'Ghost Hunt'

(just wait for Ush, I doubt we'll return to Zion indeed, but we might. and there is certainly gonna be a debriefing, zo once we pop-out check the discussion thread you guys)

Well, as you leave, and the door closes, the phone rings... of the first person who replies to this post. Maybe two, as we can have calls from both Shez and Percy.

Picks up his cell and speaks.

"Hello. Operator?"

It's Dallas.

"Where the HELL have you guys been?!" he hollers down the line.

"Chill cap, we met with Meltius(sp?), Jerichos employer. He gave us some good information....Couldnt you see us?"

"See you? You guys have been NOWHERE for the last fifteen minutes!"

"You mean you couldnt see us in the code?"

"Nothing! Nada. Zip! One moment you were at the top of the factory, the next we couldn't locate you anywhere in the entire damn Matrix! Where did you go?"

"Some weird building , where this guy lives. Ni Zhan brought us here after we handed his ass to him....Anyways, we went though some door and were with him in this clean room....This guy doesnt seem to know anythign about the real world, how is it that he and his house are being sheilded from the code........"

"You weren't in the building!" says Dallas. "And, err, what guy? You say you found Melitus? SOMEONE tell me what is going on!"

"Look, We found Melitus, We spoke with him about Jericho and after much deliberation and a few sword threats he told us where we can find him, but it wont be for another 3 days. In the meantime we have to wait. After we finish our business wiht Jericho we need to meet back with Melitus, so he can know that we havent been killed by Jericho..."

(Dallas is slow..lol..jk)

"Got it Cap??)

"Oh, I am sick of this damn goose chase and weird things happening," says Dallas. "Jericho's going to pay for this one! Whatever the hell it is he has done! So, we got the lead, that's what we came for. You truast this Melitus guy?"

"I dont know why but i didnt get a bad vibe from him. And he seems to make his decisions logically. He knew he was either gonna get killed by us now, or give us the info and possibly get killed later by Jericho if we failed ot stop him....He opted for us."

"Logical type, huh?" says Dallas. "Hmm... ok then. We got three days, pull it out. We've got an exit lined up nearby, bunch of public phone booths so both teams can jack out at once. Nice work."

"Thanks Chief...Heh..See you in a few.."

(Ush do we have a car or somehting to get there or is it like in walking distance, do you even want us RPing this part, lol.)

Heh... it's pretty close, only a few minutes away.

And even as yoy get there, the phone starts to ring (two of them, in fact, one for each ship."

"Line's all clear for you guys," says Ariadne on the mobile.

As you are the one here, Castor, I guess you can go first...

"..."

He is silent as he puts the phone to his ear and is electronnically unloaded form the matrix. Onboard the Shez his eyes open up and he gets that uncomfortable feeling that comes with having a metal rod up your neck.

Ah... but no.

Castor, you pick up the phone, as San does so for the one for the Percy.

There is the familar slight buzz as your body fades to green and starts to upload into the phone. And then...

screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a HORRIBLE high-pitched screeching noise. Your green image flickers and flutters and starts to disperse...

...and then suddenly your body forms again, and is flung a few feet away from the phone where you land on your back, joined a few moments later by San as she suffers the same fate. You both sit up and stare at each other, and then the phone, in shock.

"Oh... shit..." says Ariadne, unheard by you all, back on the Shez.

And this is where the Second Assignment ends, with you not returning to Zion... because you cannot!

Tomorrow I shall write the analysis of the Assignment in here. In the meantime, you guys can either use this thread or the General Discussion thread to talk about what the hell is going on!
