well crazygirl, our characters don't lend themselves to the big social interaction. Then again, storyline wise I think they will eventually be back in school, its just quite pointless to hop from Reven in a hospital to Reven back in school just so we could 'participate' in the whole RP. Pointless, not really no ... any rp post that entertains, even 1 person is a succesfull one, and if it is written creatively it is an exersise aswell
((Ok, I do see your point. But on the otherhand, this forum was obviously not created so two people could sit && discuss what is going on in their own little world. It was made so everyone could RP together. The key word being together. Plus, school isn't the only time people encounter one another. I doubt you sit in one place all the time with one person && never interact with another human being. Am I right?))

Um, yes it was. An RP has many sub divisions and one of them is having two or less characters interacting with eachother for a period of time. You might have been in smaller RP's so thats why you perhaps think that interacting with the whole world is right. Reven and Kaiy haven't even been in the RP for that long and your telling them that getting used to the RP is bad. Yes, their way of RPing is different than yours, but thats the point in RPing with other people. Your contradicting yourself if you want them to leave since they are just adapting to the situation of joining the RP. Even if it is the way they RP it still doesn't give you the write to tell them to leave.
I don't think I made much sense there (I lost my train of thought while arguing with my sister >_<😉, but I hope you can understand it. I'm not trying to diss you or anything, just that if people are RPing really well, they shouldn't be told to leave.

I'm Bi as well ... nothing wrong with it. Well I'm about 40% to 60%. The 60 being girls. I've tried relationships with guys, but in the end I feel better around a girl so I chose to go with girls. Kind of awesome to be able to just say this kind of stuff on a board 🙂

Well, I'm on both sides of it, really. I'm not posting this to annoy anybody, or because I'm on one side or the other, just because I think it's important, and I'm interested by what's been said.
I think, definitely, that two characters interacting with each other is an important part of role playing. Not just for RPing's sake, but for the sake of getting used to how different types of RPs work. It also helps to further character development and plot.
That having been said, I think there should be balance. It shouldn't be the only thing you do in an RP, and not all secrets should be revealed in one big meeting. The less secrets a character tells, the more interesting they become. This goes along with the fact that these meetings between characters probably shouldn't be long and drawn out. And, I mean no offence by saying this, I think Reven's and Kaiy's is getting there. To be honest, after the first few, I started skipping them. Sorry. ^_^;; Remember, everything but cheesefries in moderation. 😉 All I'm saying is, you can be creative, but that doesn't mean you have to be longwinded. And, believe me, I know of published authors who have trouble sometimes distinguishing between the two.
Anyway, I hope I helped. Like I said, I didn't mean to offend anybody in any way. If I did, I'm sorry. I just meant to offer my opinion in a hopedully constructive manner. If you wanna ask me something, or yell at me, just PM me.

((I seriously can't believe people are making it such a big topic. Everyone obviously has made a point I can understand except for some of crzygrl. I don't see what the problem is. I understand about long posts and all, and how you don't like that we're interacting with each other, but if you read the charcter descripthions, they're not much of socialist. Very rarely if any. The fact that they are interacting with eachother is a good thing. And again, if you don't want to,I'm syaing this to anyone, you don't have to read our post. It's not a necesity. So it's okay if you ignore it. There's no problem with tht with me. And it's true, people have different ways of RPing, it just happens that certain ones choose to follow certain parts of the story. History:
Ashley came to his new school from a small town in Connecticut. He was the "weird kid" in his school, and he only had one friend, Andrew. Ash had been in love with his best friend for years, and one day finally told him how he felt. Unfortunately Andrew didn't feel the same way, and outed him to the entire school.
Ash's parents found out about it through Andrew's parents, and when Ashley confirmed the 'rumour' to be true, his dad (technically, step-dad, but the only dad he's ever known) sent him to "Think Straight", a 'degayification' program. His mother went along with it for a while, because she was afraid of what her husband would do if she didn't. He was a prick. Ash was only in the program for one week and three days before his mom pulled him out and they moved away. Her best friend Trixie convinced her to do it. His mom and dad's divorce is pending.
Currently, Ashley never wants to see or hear from his father again. He still loves him, because he's his father, but he hates him just as much for what he became. He's proud of his mother for leaving, and for making a life for herself. He used to be angry with her for letting shit happen to the both of them, but he's getting over that.
