Yes- I love his first story, and I love Mind-bomb.
__In VvsC, he's about to give birth, and he refuses to let it happen- tries to stop it, then tries to kill the spawn- but the process of spawning practically kills him, so he lets the spawn bond to a cop, and promises to hunt him down. Venom wants to interfere. Then he sees the spawn/cop defeat Carnage and spare Carnage's life. Venom then decides that the spawn is too moral and too powerful, so he joins Carnage. They still get their @sses whipped. That's not what bothered me. I thought the art was often poor, and sometimes the charactors seemed to be different than in the past!
Yes, he's definitely a bad man. I think of him as less a person, and more an avatar or symbol of Chaos. He's wicked, but it's satisfying when he kills heartless people who have managed to become powerful in society, and hurt/use without being exposed for it- until they try to hurt/use him. I think of his best stories as having the theme of wicked people, because they associate with other wicked people, falling victim to their own kind. He's kind of representative of the "path" of evil and how it destroys those who follow it, because it's a predatory and disloyal way of life, without any code. So those who emulate or paralell him often find themselves at his "mercy."
NO, don't worry- it was REALLY over-looked and hardly anyone went to see it- too bad- the acting was good and the story was fantastic- and the effects were SO creepy!
__I have to go. I hope you feel better soon...
*Hugs FoXXXy and kisses him lightly, parting his lips very shallowly and slowly with the tip of her tongue*
__Stay SeXXXy....
