Does the Star Wars prequel trilogy need recasting?
Originally, I posted a thread on the topic about remaking and recasting the original Star Wars trilogy (just for fun and not to insult the originals, which i love), but then I got back a reply commenting on how the prequels were the ones that needed recasting instead. After I read it, I got the idea for this thread.
So, what do you think? Is the acting in the prequels good enough for the Star Wars universe or do you think the actors should be replaced?
Personally, I'm like Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman, both of which have proven they can act in their other movies, but I'm not sure if they were perfect for the roles of Anakin and Padme. I sometimes find myself wondering if there were any other actors who could have done a better job.
The only other person that comes to mind for the role of Anakin is Paul Walker. I can totally seem him as The Chosen One. After watching the Fast and the Furious and its sequel, I realized that he had the look, the attitude, and a great bod that would define a Jedi's physical attributes after hours of physical training.
