Marilynn spotted Logan and a girl heading to the courtyard. She said goodbye to her punk friend and walked outside, still holding her motepad and pen.
She stopped and asked a girl for a cigarette and got one. She quickly lit it up, and continued towards Logan and the girl.
"Hello there stranger." she said with a bright smile

Joe kicked open the high school doors with a stogy in his mouth. A teacher saw."Hey You, What do you think your doing?"he asked."Smoking."I said calmly."Well I'm calling the principle."he said angry."Oh yea?"I said as i tossed him out into the "hang out area" where teens gather around lunch time."Well i think you should go to him with a broken nose maybe?"I said punching him in the nose hard while taking a drag on the cig."I...I'm getting out of here" he said getting up and running.
Marilynn's eyes moved over to the kid with electic blue hair. She bit her lip, and flicked her cigarette before taking another puff. She looked back at Logan and Jem.
"So be there guys okay." she smiled, handing them a bright yellow flyer. She smiled, and brushed her bangs out of her face, before walking over to the senior parking lot to check on her car.
Joe looked at the girl just as she was turning back to look at her friends and started over there smashing his cig into his, palm his flesh bubbling under the heat."Hey i saw you looking at me, and i guess i would be asking if you wanna be friends?"He asked, he's never been this embarrassed around a girl like this before."Oh...almost forgot, My names Joseph, but you can call me Joe if ya want."He said sticking out the hand he smashed his cig in, then changed hands.
