The High School

Jem walked by the group of kids talking. She figured she may as well ask them now instead of waiting. "Umm... I'm Jem Tyler. I'm doing some interviews for the school's newspaper. I was wondering if any of you would be interested?" She bit her lip, waiting for their responses.

Silo smirked at Alex's comment before turing to Jem. "Me and Kittie will do it for sure. I need the publicity."

Jesse was walking to the cafeteria until he saw a few kids, with a beat up prep. Jesse came up to the prep and kicked him in the stomach before walking off to the cafeteria again.

"Yeah, I'll do it," Evan said, fiddling with the ring in his lip with the tip of his tongue.

"I'll do it..."

Kittie sighed. Could she get any more bored?

"Sweet. Thanks a lot. I'm free anytime, basically. I can even take you out of some classes if you want." She laughed. "I'll just call each of you out sometime tomorrow. Umm, also. Would any of you be interesting in joining the newspaper staff? You can do gossip, or advice, or whatever. It's pretty cool, actually. There's not much restriction on what can be put in it."

"I dunno..." Said Alex worrily..."Is professor Dumarr still the journalism advisor, or did we get a new guy, he was an ass my freshman year"

"Nah," Jem replied, "It's Miss Walker. She's new, pretty nice, and basically lets me handle everything, because she's new to the ropes."Jem pushed her hair out of her face and took a seat with her back leaning against the lockers.

"Are you new here, i dont think i've seen you before?" asked alex looking around at the rest of the group.

"Nope. Gone here since Freshman year. You?" Jem asked.

"Nah i've been around since freshman year too... wow, can't believe i've missed you walkin around here... hey are you goin to this party we're havin this weekend, you can prolly get some good interviews there too, if not everyone is passed out or drunk yet" Said Alex

*Just behind Logan could see a group gathered with what looked like a prep still coughing on the ground... Logan just walked by him looking bewildered and joined the group standing around*

Kittie looked at Silo who rolled his eyes. "What a faker. we didn't hurt you THAT MUCH!"

*just then one of the school councilors walks by and sees the prep, on his knees coughing*

"What exactly is going on here!?"

"Uh.. I.. uh, accidently tripped him. Yeah, but, uh, he's fine... We're all fine. Just making sure he's not hurt." She lied, knowing she was good at it. She almost smirked but stopped herself.

"I just got here" said Logan with an innocent puppy dog like expression on his face that he knew irritated Mr. Figgins

"I did it." Both Silo and Kittie piped up.

"You two come with me!!" Said Mr. Figgins as he drew them away from the crowd towards the main office

Silo smirked at Kittie. Like old times. They were such punk ass bitches. They followed the teacher. All the while Silo would 'salute' a few preps blowing the cheerleaders kisses.

"Okay you two what is the meaning of physically harrassing one of youre fellow peers!!?" Asked Mr. Figgins with a sturn look
