If you people stop giving them free stuff maybe one day they will actually do somthing, and get a job. 20& of homeless people are people who have actually fell on hard times, the other 80% are people who dont know the meaning of hard work, and if you would go up to them on the street, and offer to take them and buy them a sandwhich instead of giving them 2$ they will say no thank you i want the money. Then these damn homeless people get on wel fare, and they take money out of my and your paycheck so these people can get free money. i mean how hard is it to find 30 cents for a can of soup, you take the chance of crashing your computer by clicking on that link

Actually I agree with you to a certain extend. If by "bums" you mean those guys who stand outside a 7/11 liquor store asking for spare change. Then the hell with them I don't support drunks or crackheads. But people who are not capable to support themselves (handicap or disable) then those people I'm willing to help.
One time this hobbo ask me for some spare change and I gave it to him. Guess what? He went straight to buy some liquor. Every since that day I stoped helping those jerks and now I only give my change to institutions in charge with helping low income families. I try to help with very little I have but never again will I help another one of those bums (or Crackheads) who just want money to buy liquor or drugs.
