Who would win, Link or Sephroth?

Who do you think would win? Link or Sephroth (FF7 or 8, cant remember)?

Sephroth would kill Link so badlly that Zelda wouldnt be able to tell him apart from a pile of cow crap, dont get me wrong, Link is one of my favorite video game characters but he doesnt stand a chance

Sephiroth would definitely win, but what if link turned into Onilink?

2. LINK WOULD WHIP ANYONE'S ASS WITHOUT HIS SWORD!!!!!!!! Link would definately win, no doubt about it. Sephiroth would have to hide behind his meteor thing and his magic to have a CHANCE of winning, and Link would ONLY need his sword to win. Period.

Link pwns all heroes or baddies. He's the ORIGINAL hero for video games. And don't gimme that Mario crap because he's a freakin plumber. I'm a huge Seph fan, but Link and his boomerang/hookshot combo is unbeatable.
